The Sales team of Professional Radiology Solutions recently attended the annual 2012 NC Chiropractic meeting at the Grove Park Inn located in Asheville, NC. The weekend was an opportunity for the sales and management team of Professional Radiology Solutions of the Southeast to introduce the Konica Sigma 25 and Konica Sigma 45 CR units. These systems offer the same quality and reliability that more robust Konica systems have however, they are more compact. Konica Minolta Medical Imaging remains number 1 in MD-Buyline and has for 27 quarters which is equal to over 6 years with all of their CR products.
Presbyterian Orthopedic Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina has recently chosen to upgrade their GE portable from analog to digital with the Konica Aero DR system, which is adaptable to GE, Siemens, Shamatzu and Philips portable systems.
Piedmont Orthopedic, a 17 physician practice with two locations located in Greenville, South Carolina purchased two Konica CR systems along with two Konica Aero DR systems. Nicki Cummins, Director of Radiology spearheaded the due diligence process of evaluating CR and DR systems for a 36 month period. Nicki and her team reviewed all major manufactures of CR’s and DR’s in the market and, after many site visits and research, it was determined that Konica Minolta met and exceeded their orthopedic needs and expectations.
Easley Baptist Medical Center in Easley South Carolina recently upgraded their Konica CR systems. PRSSE sold the original systems to Easley Baptist in 2005. The medical center management staff was pleased that Konica Minolta offers a “factory refresh program” that allows them to have a complete CR refresh of hardware and software. Currently the refresh program upgrades the software to CS-7. Offering the factory refresh program is just another advantage of Konica to ensure the upgrade of their products offering the latest quality and technology long after the original sale.

Along with the sale of new and reconditioned ultrasound equipment of several manufacturers, N&N Medical also offers applications, ultrasound accessories and service. N&N Medical is located in Marietta, Georgia and has been serving the ultrasound needs of customers for over 20 years.
Easley Baptist Medical Center in Easley South Carolina recently upgraded their GE portable x-ray to include the Konica Aero DR product. By adding the DR package to the portable this allows the staff to be more efficient and in turn due to the DR product it offers a decrease in radiation exposure to the patient.
Bon Secours St. Francis Health System’s management team announced they would be moving forward with PRSSE and Poole and Associates for implementation of radiology services for their new practice located at 17 Memorial Drive in Greenville, SC. This practice will target indigent care for the community and plans are to be operational in November, 2012. PRSSE and Poole and Associates are honored to have completed 8 other practices owned and managed by the St. Francis Health System. Reedy Family Practice, part of the St. Francis Network, has installed the Konica Image Pilot along with a new rad room in a joint venture between PRSSE and Poole and Associates.
Health First has purchased a third Konica CR system from PRSSE. Health First offers Primary, Emergency and Urgent Care at three locations in the North Charleston, Summerville and West Ashley South Carolina areas.
Westside Chiropractic Center located in Spartanburg South Carolina has recently installed a Konica Sigma 45. This is the first Sigma 45 install for a Chiropractic facility associated with PRSSE. Westside is pleased to have a fully digital radiology department that offers a higher quality of imaging with a decrease in radiation exposure to their patients.
Family Health Centers, Inc. is a federally-funded community health care network with seven service sites throughout a four-county region in South Carolina. Family Health, Inc. serves residents in Orangeburg, Bamberg, Calhoun, and upper Dorchester counties. The corporate office is located in Orangeburg. PRSSE, Poole and Associates and NovaRad South were selected as vendors of choice to provide a new X-ray Suite which will include a Konica CR system and NovaRad PACS located at the Orangeburg facility.
